The concept. Documentation tells you what a feature does. It does not tell you what anyone does with it. So both went into the same chapter: the official description of a capability, and the publicly posted record of people using it on production work. Reading the docs gets you the surface. Reading them alongside somebody’s actual workflow is what changes how you work.

How it was built. Anthropic’s documentation on one side, public usage examples on the other, gathered in parallel by several AI systems and written up by a team of agents: research, drafting, editing against quality gates, then review. Nothing is quoted directly from any source, and no company or person is named anywhere in the text.

Inside the book. Permissions and trust. Context engineering. Multi-agent orchestration, MCP, headless runs in CI/CD, IDE integration. Prompt craft for an agent rather than a chat window. Large legacy codebases. What failure looks like and how to get out of it. Team adoption, and what it all costs to run.

It assumes months of daily use and will not get you started. It begins where the documentation stops and where the habits of people running this every day take over.
