The Forward Deployed Engineer

The concept. A job title escapes one company, spreads across an industry, and for a while it is worth more than the work behind it. Full stack did this and ended up ordinary. Forward Deployed Engineer is somewhere on the same curve, and where it sits decides whether learning it is a career move or a costume. So the job was to read everything public that says anything concrete about it: what the week actually looks like, and how long the premium lasts.
